Congregation Care Ministry ("CCM")
The primary focus in Congregational Care is to develop a ministry where trained laity, called Congregational Care Ministers (CCMs), working with the Pastor to meet the care needs of our church family. CCMs will meet regularly as a team with their Pastor and/or Congregational Care Ministry Coordinator for supervision and assignments. CCM is a one-on-one lay pastoral care giving program that can respond to a wide variety of parish pastoral needs. They can make hospital calls, telephone persons in need of contact, meet one-on-one with persons needing a listening ear for prayer and encouragement, offer support to grieving families and proactively seek to encourage and care for persons within their pastorate. This partnership between lay and clergy will enable us to provide another level of care to our church family.
